Tach (bones):
"After fleeing from the dreaded vampire Ismael, Uglakh and his band
of orcs traveled south, to yet again speak with the Shakapon, their shaman.
They left the deep forest far behind them, and traversed the arid plains of
the southern lands. All the while mourning the loss of their friend, dagalush
Knish. The shaman greeted them, dancing in ecstasy. He was covered in feathers
and animal furs, adorned with the skulls of eagles. "
Tach is
the long awaited continuation of the saga of Za Frumi. With 17 new tracks,
ranging in diversity from glorious melodies of the forest and the wild, unchartered
regions to the dark and creeping realms beyond. The orcs, now on a mission
from the Eagle of the South to find three bones flung across the land. This
is the initial phase of the plot, though where it will lead is impossible
to tell. The settings and therefore also the music has even greater diversity
than Za shum ushatar Uglakh. For the better part of a year, Za Frumi have
been gathering sounds for use on Tach. The use of these pull together the
story and the music in a fantastic blend of tale and musical experience. Also,
the scope of instruments used is much greater. The booklet has also been the
focus of a tremendous effort, and truly visualises the setting through full
colour paintings and alot more written information.
