Legends series has illustrated a maturity in the bands sound and compositional skills and is also a great time to check in with these talented artists if you are not familiar with their work. Following in the tradition of the Sagas Za Frumi offers another series of albums filled with heavy text offerings that describe an arcane and hidden world of super natural beings. One departure from earlier releases is the noticeable lack of spoken word or lyrical content in the actual music. Rather Za Frumi has chosen to leave the lyrics in the text and allow the music to tell its own tale.
Za Frumi Legends Act 2 Vampires is the second installment in the Legends series by Za Frumi. The album is divided into two separate sections dealing with separate aspects of the Vampire genealogy. The first section of Legends Act 2 is dedicated to the telling of the tale of a male vampire named Jakesh. The second half of the album is dedicated to a far eastern female vampire named Rianji and her fabled cult. This album has been been recieved more than well in the media and been celebrated as a good record by (to mention one) Ennio Morricone.
